Terms of use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Botanical Waters platform, currently operating at savedrecipe.com/mushrooms and any successor domains including the planned botanicalwaters.com. The platform is operated by Verdone Wellness Inc. ("Botanical Waters", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the site, you ("user", "you") agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform. Some product categories (CBD products) require buyers to be at least 21 years old per industry-standard age-restricted commerce norms. Where age attestation is requested at checkout, providing false attestation constitutes breach of these terms.

2. Permitted use

You may access and use the platform for personal, non-commercial educational and (where applicable) shopping purposes. You may not:

  • Resell, scrape, or systematically copy site content
  • Use the platform's research-stage content as the basis for unauthorized manufacture or distribution of controlled substances
  • Submit fraudulent waitlist signups, orders, or other entries
  • Attempt to circumvent age-attestation, COA-display, or other compliance mechanisms
  • Use the platform in violation of any applicable law

3. Products + commerce

Products available for direct purchase are listed at /mushrooms/shop and use Stripe for checkout, payment processing, and order capture. Stripe's terms apply to the payment portion of any transaction. We do not store full credit card numbers; Stripe handles that data per PCI-DSS requirements.

Affiliate-fulfillment products (functional-mushroom supplements, spores, grow kits, supplies) link out to third-party retailers (Amazon, North Spore, Sporeworks, Out-Grow, etc.). The third-party retailer's terms apply to those purchases. We do not handle payment, fulfillment, or returns for affiliate products.

Hypothetical-product specifications under /mushrooms/research/products are not for sale. The waitlists associated with them are notification-only and do not constitute pre-orders or any commitment to deliver a product.

4. Content + intellectual property

All written content, images, COA panels, product photography, and site design are the property of Verdone Wellness Inc. unless otherwise attributed. Cited research literature is the property of the original publishers and is referenced under fair-use principles for educational purposes. You may not reproduce or republish substantial portions of the site without written permission.

The water-dissolution method that powers Botanical Waters products is proprietary to Verdone Wellness Inc.. Process IP is not transferred or licensed by any purchase of finished product.

5. Returns + refunds

Stripe-direct purchases: unopened products are eligible for return within 30 days of delivery. Opened CBD products are not eligible for return for hygiene reasons. Defective or mis-described products are eligible for full refund or replacement at our option.

Affiliate-fulfilled purchases: returns are governed by the third-party retailer's policy.

6. No medical advice (cross-reference)

See the FDA disclaimer + medical-advice disclosure. By using the site you acknowledge that nothing here constitutes medical advice and you should consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any supplement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Verdone Wellness Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the platform. Our total liability for any direct damages is limited to the amount you paid for products in the 12 months preceding the claim. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law (e.g. liability for fraud or for injury caused by gross negligence).

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Maricopa County, Arizona.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the platform's newsletter and reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
